I managed for 18 years my family’s hotel, in 3 years I started up a ‘relais de charme’ and got to win the “best historical guest house of Europe” award in just 8 months of activity.
Then, 6 years ago, I was looking for new challenges and I started to write a cooking blog that led me to hosting cooking classes in a home design shop.
I also started and developed an environment friendly and sustainable project to get high nutrition food from the earth.
I spent a full year working close with nutritionists and three years as a consultant in a wholistic medicine center.
In September 2016 I moved to Florence ready to write new episodes of my story.

ABOUT

The goal I want to achieve during the cooking lessons is to help people understand the difference between food to eat and food for nutrition.
“Let the food be your medicine”
“Those who don’t understand food, don’t understand man’s diseases”
Hippocrates

The above words synthesize my thoughts and feelings, I truly believe in a close connection between food we eat and diseases we have to fight. The more we eat natural and vegetable food, the more our body becomes healthy, bright and full of energy.
All the toxins we load up when we eat too many animal proteins – making our organism more acidic – create infection and illness in our body, causing pain and sickness.

My life style today is based on respect for people, for animals, for the environment and the planet. I live my life using herbs, essential oils, homeopathic medicine to cure my illness, and most important thing: food is my medicine.
My research made me choose high nutrition power food. It’s so hard to shine bright if you eat low energy food.

My lessons in Florence (Tuscany) can be held also in English and French, and they are meant to explain in a few lessons the Italian culinary traditions. Being my roots in Emilia Romagna and living in Tuscany, I will focus my menu proposals on traditional food from these two regions.

I also customize lessons on requests.

NEWS 2017

In September 2016 I moved from Piacenza, my hometown in Emilia Romagna, to Florence (Tuscany).

Changing town brings a lot of changes in your life and then it takes a little while to have everything set as you like once again. You have to find your favorite market, or the best grocery store, not to mention the fact that you must find new friends. I must admit that my nature and my personality really helped me a lot with that, and also having my beautiful daughter in primary school got me in touch with many moms.

My life as a blogger and natural food chef is now evolving once again, while I get lost in the amazing Chianti landscape and I walk though the charming roads of Florence.

The blog itself will take a new path and, from now on, you will find recipes posted in English too – thanks to the collaboration of my dear friend Cecilia, who’s assisting me in this new adventure. She’s been very helpful …… you don’t imagine how complex being a blogger can be: you don’t just post a few recipes once in a while, you actually have to deal with lots of accessory activities too.

So talking about friendship, I just found a big friend – Anita: she’s a great sculptor, but also a Tuscany Region hike guide… and we just go along so well!

We both like to propose special services led by the passion for our jobs, we like to suggest something different from the usual tours – Tuscany has a very heavy offer of basic excursions and cooking lessons.

We are not starting anything from scratch you know, we just have a dream and we are trying to make it true.

We propose unconventional walks across the extraordinary Chianti vineyards with breathtaking landscapes, we set quick stops in little selected farms, picnic lunch breaks in enchanted woods, customized cooking lessons that start from morning grocery shopping at the market or in small village food shops.

The day trip will continue chatting in front of the fireplace drinking herbal tea made with our own collected and dried herbs.

Let’s say we offer little old style tours with a vintage flavor, a warm day full of unique personality … our personality.
